Essential trip information
A land defined by fairy tale palaces and towering forts, of lilting folk songs that speak of love and life, of brilliant costumes that offset the stark, dry landscape and shifting sands. But above all a land bursting with verve and spirit that has not ebbed with the passage of time – Rajasthan. Travel through a golden city and watch the dunes catch the remnants of a dying sun as you ease in for a night at the desert. Sit back and enjoy as the placid lake licks the walls of a white city, skim your eyes over a blue city and revel in the chaos of a pink one – each unveiling its own legends, traditions and culture accumulated over centuries.
